What is Wireless Tank Monitoring?
Wireless tank monitoring is a two-piece system that regularly checks the level of your propane tank and relays that information to First Fuel & Propane.
How Does it Work?
A Smart Signal transmitter is connected directly to your propane tank. It will monitor the tank level and send a wireless signal to a Smart Signal receiver that connects to a phone jack inside your home. The receiver then calls First Fuel & Propane to update your records.
Will it interrupt phone calls?
The smart system makes just a few calls a month, each call lasting only 12 seconds. If you pick up the line and hear a static noise, simply hang up the phone and wait a few seconds for the receiver to finish. The smart receive will always wait for the line to be free before trying to connect.
